Letter from
District President, Neil Campau
Hello to the Men of the District &
Sub-District,
I wanted to take the time to thank
each and everyone of you for the roles you play in your
churches as new disciples for Christ. In areas as men
teaching Sunday School to leading in worship, being part of
a Bible study, to helping to prepare the Thanksgiving Dinner
for your community to a mission trip in Louisiana after the
hurricanes.
We on the District Board thank you
and will continue to support
your efforts for what you do for your
home churches and your community. We will continue to have a
Spring Rally and Retreat which will hopefully give you ideas
on just what is available to disciples of Christ to do as a
project for your church or community.
A new project has been explored by
the sub-district called PETS which is making and assembling
hand driven carts for all those you have lost the ability to
use their legs. There are millions over the the world and in
this country who could use your devotion to this worth while
project. Please keep checking the Saginaw Bay District web
site for more on this worth while cause. sbdumm.org
We also want to thank you for your
support both spiritually and financially for we do not exist
with out your prayers and support.
We will continue in 2009 to bring
you a better Rally and in so doing ideas that you can adopt
for your men's group if a new project is what you are in
need of. We are will also be there if you need help with
your group getting together from the beginning to any where
in between.
So use us, we are here to serve the men
of both the District & Sub-District, look on the web page
where you will find all kinds of different projects going on
in individual church and some brand new projects also.
Our e-mail addresses are there as
well as phone numbers so we want to reach out but we do not
just want to be flailing in the wind so grab hold and become
a soldier for Christ.
Thank you for listening,
Neil T. Campau Sr and the whole District Board. |
