Reverend Terry Euper

Has been in active ministry in the United Methodist Church here in Michigan for close to 40 years.  He has served as pastor of the Morrice, Pittsburg and Bennington Charge, Troy Big Beaver UMC and Lapeer Trinity UMC.  He also served as the District Superintendent

for the Saginaw Bay District from 1989 to 1994.  Reverend Euper is currently appointed as the Clergy Assistant to Bishop Jonathan Keaton.

Reverend Euper is married to Jacqueline Euper.  They have two children and five grandchildren (with one more on the way!).  He has traveled extensively on behalf of the church visiting Haiti, the Holy Land, England, Korea, Mexico and Liberia. On those trips he has been a part of several mission teams, attended international conferences and has served one summer abroad as a local pastor.   Most recently he attended the Liberian Annual Conference in February 2009 where he preached at the Conference Ordination worship service.

Reverend Euper is an avid backpacker.  A dream of his for many years has been to hike the Appalachian Trail from beginning to end.  He started working on this dream during the summer of 2007.  Spending 5weeks on the trail, he experienced his faith in a different and

exciting way while being on "mountain tops" and spending time with new people.  In a reflection entitled "Joy On The Mountain", he will share with us his powerful experience.
