| Meeting Dates and Times Second Thursday of Each Month 6:30 PM Activities: Pancake & Sausage Breakfast - Sunday March 7th also on Easter morning April 4th. Lenten Dinner Wednesday evening - March 17th Men are asked to help setup, cook, and take down tables. Future activates being planned are: Game night for the UM youth group Hosting the Saginaw Bay Sub District meeting Saturday April 17th. from 9:00 am till noon Concert by Living Truth 2 on August 20, 2010 Trip to The Great Lakes Loons baseball game (date to be announced). |

Tawas UMM was revitalized in late 2006 by Rev. Reed Swanson. Over twenty (20) years ago Tawas UMM was active and met on a regular basis. At this time we have agreed to meet on the second Thursday of each month at dinner time. We also have a Thursday morning study group. We have contributed to projects at our church such as helping to pay for a new roof on our church, support a mission trip to Biloxi, MS for help with Hurricane Katrina relief. The former Tawas men's group participated in the Potato project and at this time we are exploring renewing that and other ongoing projects. The membership and attendance to our meetings is low at this time but with the help of our new Pastor Mary Shipley, we are hoping for a bright future. Ed Nagy
